- visit Mont St. Michel, a Benedictine Monastery established in the 8th century, well known for its Cloisters and Scriptoreum
- attend vespers and afterwards marvel at the tide closing in around the island
- explore Avranches Scriptorial Museum which offers insights to the creation of illuminated manuscripts and houses many ancient texts of Mont St. Michel
- in Chartres,reside in Maison St. Yves, former seminary/convent close to the cathedral (lodging included, breakfasts optional)
- emphasis is on getting to know the Cathedral Notre-Dame de Chartres
- explore the medieval village of Chartres
